Requirements / Qualifications

The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for an Accounting Supervisor. The Accounting Supervisor has knowledge of principles of governmental accounting, grant compliance and restricted funding sources. Oversees all accounting functions of the Adult School, including payroll, categorical compliance, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger and cafeteria accounts. Preparation and maintenance of budget including income expense and restricted funds. For more information, please click on "view job description". REQUIREMENTS -Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major work in accounting or business administration. -Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required college education on a year-for-year basis. -Three (3) years of responsible accounting and financial record-keeping, including at least one (1) year of responsible experience in public education. -Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License. PREFERENCES -Knowledge of Adult Education -Proficient in English and Composition
