Essential Job Functions: To plan and carry out an effective visual and performing arts (VAPA) program in the elementary school that will maximize learning for all students participating.

CERTIFICATED ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR POSITION: Visual/Performing Arts Teacher LOCATION: Various - To Be Determined SALARY RANGE: $71,411.56 – $143,522.50: With correct placement on Certificated Salary Schedule. A maximum of ten years prior teaching experience is allowable provided the experience has been in a public school system. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION: Experience with TK-8 music and/or art programs preferred. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until filled. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must hold or qualify for a Single Subject - Fine Arts, Theater, Art or Dance Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing service as a teacher in the above position. In addition, must hold or qualify for appropriate certification to service ELL students. Education: Bachelor’s Degree, including all courses needed to meet credential requirements.
