Under the direction of the site administrator, classified substitutes cover various classified staff positions throughout the district. Current Positions Available to Sub Office Assistant & Administrative Assistant: Assist in coverage of the office; answering phones, recording attendance, assisting staff, students and parents in various needs. Strong communication and service to the community. Custodian: Assist in cleaning, disinfection and various custodial responsibilities depending upon assigned area. *Pre-employment Physical Required Food Service Assistant: Assist in food preparation, serving and cleaning up in the school cafeteria. *Pre-employment Physical Required Intervention Assistant, Intervention Assistant Special Education Mild/Moderate, & Intervention Assistant Special Education Moderate/Severe: Assist certified professional staff with students in the classroom and social environments to meet instructional and social-emotional goals and objectives while contributing positively to the district culture. *Pre-employment Physical Required for Sp.Ed Positions Noon Supervisor: Assist certified professional staff supervising students in non-instructional areas, such as the student lunch programs, bus duty, playground duty, corridor, study hall, and other related non-instructional areas. Health Services Assistant: Assist certified professional staff providing first aid care and screening ill or injured students according to established procedures; performs or assists the school nurse with basic nursing care. *CPR Certification Required Note: The above descriptions are illustrative of tasks and responsibilities.
