Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Senior Director - Early Learning Program, the Inclusion Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting increased access for children with disabilities to inclusive learning and care programs; oversight of grant compliance, partnerships, and sustainability supporting inclusive practices (SIP); oversight of data systems and program activities to increase inclusion of students with disabilities throughout the county; monitors the implementation of professional development seminars for early learning programs, and partnership sites and Monterey County Consortium Members.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited college in a relevant field Adult learning training and experience preferred, including training teaching staff about best practices and the Head Start Performance Standards Any combination of experience and training equal to three (3) years of related services including adult learning training, training teaching staff about best practices and the Head Start Performance Standards Knowledge of: Federal grants and attention to detail required in record keeping Early Childhood Special Education regulations Inclusive Practices Universal Design for Learning Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy Computer application software that includes word processing, database and spreadsheets, and personal communication data devices Modern office procedures and practices, including filing systems, reception and telephone techniques, letter and report writing techniques Business English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and report and/or letter writing Applicable Federal and State program regulations performance standards and policies applicable to the management and administration of assigned programs; IDEA Part B and C program procedures and requirements
