Teaching High School English and intervention/enrichment classes in a departmentalized setting. As a director of learning helps students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible men and women.
Candidates must possess the following: 1) a valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in English, 2) English Language Learner Authorization (CLAD/BCLAD/CTEL or equivalent) and, 3) Verification of "No Child Left Behind" (NCLB) compliance via California State Exam (CSET/MSAT) or NCLB HOUSSE Certificate of Compliance.
Requirements / Qualifications
This is a permanent position within the district (2 yrs probation) A valid California SIngle Subject/English Teaching Credential (preferred), English Internship Credential; CLAD or BCLAD certificate or equivalent; must have knowledge of and ability to implement the subject matter, philosophical, social, and educational concepts relative to the duties and responsibilities of a school teacher. Master's degree required.
