Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Transportation, operate a school bus over designated routes in accordance with time schedules; pick up and discharge of students’ provide safe and efficient transportation for District students to and from school, special events and field trips; perform daily inspections and maintenance of vehicle.

Requirements / Qualifications

FOR ANY BUS DRIVERS INITIALLY EMPLOYED BY THE DISTRICT FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR, THE DISTRICT WILL OFFER A SIGNING BONUS OF $2000 TO A FULLY QUALIFIED AND LICENSED BUS DRIVER. Bus Drivers who qualify for signing bonuses shall receive the payment as follows: $1000 (50% of the bonus) on the first payroll following the first 6 months of continued employment. (Paid on the end of the 7th month) $1000 (50% of the bonus) on the first payroll following the employee's first twelve months of continued employment (Paid at the end of the 13th month). Must include, along with completed, signed application; current CPR/First Aid Cards, DMV Printout (H-6), Bus Driver Certificate (w/passenger & air brakes).
