Job Summary

- Operationalize the Climate Literacy Action plan and identify measurable outcomes - Support teacher projects for action-based learning relevant to their subject matter and climate literacy - Coordinate and calibrate the development of open source lesson plans across PK-12 - Coordination and support of staff/teacher led spring climate showcases at the three grade spans, elementary, middle and high school - Coordinate with other district related programs including the cooking & gardening and sustainability offices - Strengthen community-based partnerships and local organizations to support climate literacy work - Pursue funding and grants for teacher-designed initiatives and projects related to climate literacy
