MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a library or similar instructional setting. College level coursework in library science curriculum or equivalent is desirable. Relevant experience, education, certificates and/or licenses may be substituted.
SELECTION PROCESS: All applications will be screened to ensure application is complete and applicant meets minimum qualifications. The process will include an online written exam for all qualified applicants. Those candidates achieving a passing score on the online exam will be invited to the oral exam. Passing score is 70% on each exam. The district-wide eligibility list is valid for one year and will be used to fill part-time, full-time, and substitute positions in this classification. The top three ranks of candidates will receive a departmental interview. Additional interviews will be conducted in rank order until all open positions are filled and as vacancies become available. The exam for this recruitment will take place online via e-Skill on July 17-19, 2023.
