Requirements / Qualifications

The Student and Family Engagement Liaison works to establish relationships that empower, guide, and support historically underrepresented (HUR) students and parents. This position serves as a liaison between the school district, home, and community partners. It engages in broad district efforts that promote greater equity, access, and success of historically underserved groups. Qualifications: Candidate must be a high school graduate and have experience in the areas of Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Education, or related field, and/or practical experience in school social work, and previous experience in working with community and social service agencies. A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, or related field is preferred. A valid California Driver’s license is required. Must have the ability to work an adjusted schedule (evenings or weekends) as needed. Spanish speaking preferred.
