Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Any combination or equivalent to: Associates Degree and three years’ experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare facility. (Certificate Programs only) Licenses and other requirements: CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) or CCMA (NHA).Minimum of three years of administrative and supervisory experience.
Fundamental Responsibilities: Assist with the implementation and evaluation of program services and initiatives. Plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates appropriate student support. Participates and assist with accreditation for Medical Program maintenance as directed and assigned Instructs medical courses quarterly, per scheduling needs Assists with coordination and presentation of Advisory Board, Academic Governance Committee, and curriculum development meetings. Consults with faculty members to ensure effective and efficient program support Collaborates with others to assist with problem identification and resolution, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures. Assists in planning and presenting for faculty and staff development meetings Assist and complete curriculum development and assessment that can be used and modified for Career Pathways Develop online classes and curriculum Assists with conducting quarterly/semi-quarterly student surveys Ensures department compliance with medical program components May perform other duties as assigned or requested
