BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned Director I, Supervisor, Coordinator or Manager, perform a variety of secretarial support functions in an assigned departmental office; relieve the supervisor of administrative details; organize and coordinate office activities and coordinate the flow of communications.

EDJOIN Classified Application SCOE Administrative Assistant I or higher level certificate. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience. College-level course work in business office management, secretarial science or related field desirable. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver's license may be required. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: The following documents are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment. • DOJ Fingerprint clearance • TB Test clearance • Pre-Employment Drug Screen clearance
