Job Summary
Under department supervision, plan, prepare, cook, bake and serve a variety of foods in quantity; coordinate and assist in routine food service activities related to the setup of serving areas and the preparation and serving of food in quantity at an assigned district site(s); perform cashiering duties in the sale of food items; coordinate and prepare in other food preparation and catering duties as directed; maintain facilities and equipment in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition; provide exceptional service to students and staff; and perform related work as required. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS: Incumbents in the Nutrition Services Cook class are assigned greater responsibility in coordinating and preparing a variety of ingredients in a production kitchen and assists the Nutrition Services Supervisor. Nutrition Services Cook performs duties in the absence of the Nutrition Services Supervisor and should be able to perform all duties of Nutrition Services Assistant I and II.

Master's degree annual stipend calculated based on 1.00 FTE. Full time 8 hour (1.00 FTE) = $2,182 annual stipend.
Start date is ASAP.
