DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of the High School Principal include, but are not limited to:
Providing leadership for and administering the instructional program of the school;
Developing, planning and implementing goals and objectives;
Recommending and administering District and school policies and procedures;
Directing, overseeing and participating in the development and implementation of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA);
Coordinating school activities with those of other schools and outside agencies and organizations;
Establishing and monitoring procedures for reporting pupil progress to parents and appropriate school district offices;
Supervising the development and administration of the school budget;
Overseeing the safety and maintenance of the building and school grounds;
Preparing and presenting staff reports;
Directing the forecast of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies;
Selecting, supervising and evaluating assigned certificated and classified staff members,
Training developing and implementing discipline procedures related to student behavior;
Developing and maintaining cooperative relationships with parents, organizations and the community; and
Other duties as assigned.

Edjoin Certificated Management application; a comprehensive resume; placement file (or three current letters of recommendation); and copies of the required degree(s), administrative credential and teaching credential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess and maintain a valid California Administrative Credential or the equivalent; Master's degree preferred; Demonstrated leadership capabilities in working with students, teachers, and citizens within a community.
