Job Summary
Under the supervision and leadership of the Principal, the Dean of Student Support Services has primary responsibilities to plan, coordinate and support all students, and in particular students with disabilities (special education and Section 504), newcomers, English Learners and Long Term English Learners (LTEL), pursuant to District policy and state and federal regulations. Integral to that work, the Dean is also responsible for promoting the District’s commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI).

* Five (5) years of successful teaching, school psychology or administrative experience at the secondary (6th-12th grades) level.
* Two (2) of the five (5) years with a focus on teaching special education, or providing direct services to students in special education as a related service provider, or administrative oversight of
special education services and implementation on a school campus.
