Job Summary
Job Summary
Under general supervision to perform a variety of clerical work involved in recording and reporting attendance; and to plan, coordinate, and provide library media services to assist students and staff in the location and selection of library materials. Perform a wide variety of responsible technical and clerical work providing office and media services to students, parents and staff.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Enter information, changes and corrections pertaining to all student attendance issues from school sites to data processing. 2. Maintain required records and files as required by auditors. 3. Enter information onto data processing equipment including, but not limited to, class schedules, student class assignment, etc. 4. Prepare and verify data pertaining to report cards, progress reports, loss reports and related reports as assigned. 5. Assist new teachers and other support staff with the procedures of daily attendance recordkeeping. 6. Distributes and collects various materials (eg. books, media, audio visual equipment, overdue notices, billings, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining reference materials and necessary information for students and staff. 7. Provide instructional support to students and staff on the proper use of library resources, computer programs, and other media center equipment. 8. Responsible for the annual and ongoing inventory of textbooks, audio visual, and other instructional and library materials. 9. Handles collection and record keeping of funds for supplemental insurance, lost/damaged library books and textbooks for the purpose of ensuring accountability for resources and supplies. 10. Performs student registration in order to provide efficient and courteous student and parent services. 11. Greets and assists parent and visitors in Front Office.
