RUSD educates nearly 42,000 students across 50 schools in Riverside. The District serves a large portion of Riverside as well as the unincorporated areas of Highgrove and Woodcrest. The Commission on Teacher Credential has WAIVED the CBEST/BSR requirements from 1/1/2023 to 7/1/2024. PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING: ~Personal Resume ~If you have a 30 Day Teaching Permit or Valid Credential, please upload it to your application ~If you do not have a 30 Day Teaching Permit: Please upload a copy of unofficial transcripts verifying Bachelor's Degree conferral date (unofficial transcripts for application) *Must Have A Bachelor's Degree To Apply For Substitute Teacher Position ~If you have taken the CBEST, please upload a copy of it. *FOR RUSD-RETIRED TEACHERS ONLY- Email Jewel Bundy, Substitute Teacher Desk/Credential Technician at jbundy@riversideunified.org before completing Edjoin application for the hiring process information

If you do not have a 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit, RUSD will assist you with the process of obtaining the 30 Day Permit.
