Job Summary

Job Summary

The position of Community Schools/Expanded Learning Coordinator will begin July 2023. This position will require the employee to work 210 days on a custom calendar over 12 months. Hours of employment may vary between 7:45am - 6:30pm (8 hour shift).

Requirements / Qualifications

To apply for the position of Community Schools/Expanded Learning Coordinator, you must meet the minimum requirements below: -Valid CA Administrative Credential -Valid CA Teaching Credential or Education Specialist Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential or School Nurse Services Credential -Master's degree or above -Minimum 3 years teaching and/or student support services experience -Minimum of 2 years elementary instructional support/leadership experience

In addition to the requirements above, you must complete the EdJoin application and upload the following documents:

  • Credential Copy (Detailed document from CTC )
  • Letter of Introduction (Addressed to: Dr. David Appling)
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Signed Letters Required - No more than 3))
  • Resume
  • Test Results/Materials (CBEST/BSR, MSAT/CSET & RICA [if applicable])

SALARY -Salary credit will be given to Coordinators new to the District for previous experience in an administrative position outside of the District up to a maximum of two years for placement on the salary schedule. Upon recommendation of the Superintendent and with approval of the Board of Trustees, additional credit for previous administrative may be given. -$500.00 annual stipend for doctoral degree. -Additional salary increases are earned for longevity with MSD. WORK YEAR -Calendar is based on the 210 day work schedule on a custom calendar. INTERVIEWS Interviews will be held in person on July 13th in the afternoon / Qualified applicants will be contacted via email
