This is an at-will certificated, full-time position with benefits, working 35 hours per week and occasionally more dependent on site need or preparation. Credentialed teachers at ERCLC are called Education Coordinators (hereafter referred to as “EC”) to differentiate them from the parents, who are their child’s teacher. Each EC must hold a valid California teaching credential. All educational coordinators must hold a valid credential. Our EC’s have a unique blend of flexibility, and teaching some enrichment classes, while also supporting the homeschooling of our families. EC’s are assigned to some individual students to support and monitor their homeschooling academic progress. High School ECs teach enrichment classes in their single subject credentialing areas, but will also run other fun classes in an area of interest. As a homeschool, the parent is a true educational partner and part of the community.
