As an integral part of the Technology Services team, the Systems Administrator works to support the Holy Cross Mission of helping our community through the creation and maintenance of our technology infrastructure and services. The Systems Administrator works with the Director of Technology and the Technology Services team to provide reliable, high-performance data services to the entire Saint Francis High School Community. This is accomplished through careful planning and implementation of network and server infrastructure services, both on-site and in the cloud. Additionally, the System Administrator is actively involved in strategic planning for long-term planning of technology services, in cooperation with the Information Systems Manager and the Director of Technology.  ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manages the schools information and data systems, including oversight, support, maintenance, backup, security, upgrades, updates, and troubleshooting of the various information systems - Evaluates and recommends upgrades, modifications, or changes to information systems and specialized applications - Provides advice and consultation about the application of technology as it relates to the schools present and future needs - Manage the MDM infrastructure and device management, including app deployment and related tasks - Manage various directory services (AD, Azure, Google) and connectivity to third-party solutions - Manage workspace applications environments, such as Google G Suite - Manage cloud service provider infrastructure, such as AWS - Manage backup and recovery systems and processes - Manage on-site systems, networks and devices, both physical and virtual - Maintain internet connectivity solutions - Maintain firewall policies and services - Maintain on-site video streaming services - Maintain Avigilon surveillance system and provide service and training for it ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES can be found at https://www.sfhs.com/jobs-at-sf.
