PLEASE NOTE: This position may be a temporary contract depending on when the candidate is hired and the number of permanent teachers serving out of the classroom at that time. Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Expanded Learning, Enrichment and the Arts, the itinerant K-5 Music Teacher will teach general music to students in grades TK-5 and and other school programs as assigned, such as, recorders, ukuleles, after school music (choir/band/orchestra).
Requirements / Qualifications
To be eligible, the candidate must possess: Must possess a valid California Teaching Credential issued from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizing music instruction to students in grade K-5.
Applications must include a letter of introduction, which includes an overview of experiences, education philosophy, talents and skills; three recent (within one year) letters of reference; resume; copy of valid California teaching credential, EL Authorization, university transcript(s) and any other items which may support your candidacy for a position.
