POSITION DETAILS The Fullerton School District is seeking current and qualified FSD employees with custodial experience to apply for future Custodian II promotional opportunities for the 2023-24 school year. Any and all openings that may come up for the upcoming school year will be filled from this recruitment's established eligibility list. All FSD employees looking for a possible Custodial promotion for the next school year are encouraged to apply now. Under general supervision of a site administrator (or immediate supervision of the Supervisor of Custodial Services during special work periods) and using a moderate level of decision making skills, this position is responsible for the routine cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, libraries, auditoriums, kitchens, assembly areas, and grounds of a school or other assigned site. Note that you must be available to work Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This career opportunity is an 8 hours/day, 12 months/year position with paid holidays, sick leave and vacation. The District offers a comprehensive package of health benefits, dental, vision and life insurance. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Experience: One year of custodial or institutional housekeeping experience. Other: License: Possession of a valid California Class C Driver’s License.

RECRUITMENT PROCEDURES This is a promotional only recruitment. Recruitment examinations may consist of a training and experience (supplemental responses) evaluation, written test, performance test and/or structured oral interview. To qualify to be placed on an eligibility list, a candidate must obtain a passing score on each part of the examination process. Final scores will be obtained by combining the relative weights of scores on each part of the examination. If Veteran's credit is claimed, proof of status (DD214) must be submitted to the Classified Personnel Commission Office at the same time the application form is submitted or prior to testing. The life of the eligibility list will be twelve (12) months. The resulting eligibility list will be used to fill current and future vacancies. Date of Examination The date of the examination(s) will be announced at a later date. Candidates who are among the most qualified shall be notified via email, and/or telephone of the time, date and place of the examination(s).
