Job Summary

The district is seeking highly qualified candidates to apply for the position of Chief Facilities Officer. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team under direction of the Superintendent, administers and supervises the Facilities, Maintenance and Operations, Transportation and Food Service functions, providing overall leadership and vision including the development and achievement of short-term and long-term goals.

Requirements / Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: Must have ten (10) years of successful finance, accounting, budgeting, viable and reputable programs regarding water/energy cost savings and administrative experience in the operations area, five (5) of which must have been in a senior management role. EDUCATION: A college degree in Facilities, Construction, business administration or a related field from an accredited institution is required; A Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, preferably in Facilities or a related field, Business Administration, or a closely related field is desirable. SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS - Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License and use of private or alternative means of transportation is required. - Evidence of proof of current automobile insurance is required - A CPA, CMA or other related certification is desirable - The ability to speak, read and write a language in addition to English, is desirable APPLICATION PROCEDURES: All applicants, including applicants presently employed by the Pasadena Unified School District, must complete an application online at www.edjoin.org.
