Qualifications Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or Single Subject Physical Education Credential CTEL Certification, CLAD/LDS Certification, or SB 1969/SB 395 Certification required Desire to become an integral part of our Charter School Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and develop a comprehensive PE curriculum that aligns with the health sciences charter school's objectives and standards. Incorporate concepts related to health, fitness, nutrition, anatomy, physiology, and other relevant scientific principles. Prepare engaging and interactive lesson plans that promote physical activity, teach fundamental movement skills, and foster a positive attitude towards health and wellness. Integrate scientific concepts into practical activities to enhance students' understanding. Deliver PE lessons effectively, providing clear instructions and demonstrating proper techniques for various activities and exercises. Emphasize safety procedures, proper form, and injury prevention strategies while engaging students in active participation. Educate students about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
