MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Experience and Education: •Approved Senior Army Science Instructor or Army Science Instructor Certificate/Designated Subjects ROTC Credential. Knowledge and Abilities: •JROTC program policies and regulations. •Identify pupil needs, and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping pupils solve health, attitude, and learning problems.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applications from qualified candidates are invited. A complete application file consists of: •A completed certificated EDJOIN application; •An up-to-date resume; •Three Letters of Recommendation (from three different individuals) that are dated and signed within the last 2 years; •Possession of/eligible for a Designated Subjects ROTC Credential; •Proof of EL Authorization or eligibility documents for EL Waiver. •Proof of JROTC Instructor Certification from the Department of the Army; •Proof of Army Officer Commission Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and provide all necessary materials on-line prior to the stated deadline in order to qualify as a candidate. To submit an application you must log onto www.EDJOIN.org. Applicants are responsible for assuring that Personnel receive the online submission of their application before the deadline date. Applicants must be sure they are submitting a complete application packet with all required documents.
