Job Summary

The job of School Social Worker is done for the purpose/s of facilitating and providing clinical and administrative processes; overseeing interns, when available; ensuring operation in compliance with county, state and/or federal requirements; providing information on services available to eligible students and families; conveying procedures and referring families to other agencies. Requirements / Qualifications

First candidate screening will take place on Tuesday, June 20th Education & Experience: Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Social Work or School Counseling required Valid California LCSW, LMFT or license eligible preferred Master’s degree in social work, welfare, psychology or counseling Minimum of five (5) years of related experience supporting students, parents, and staff, individually and in groups at a county or district office and/or nonprofit organization A minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in a position performing pupil personnel services and/or related functions in a school setting (such as School Counselor, Social Worker, or related occupation) preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) - highly preferred. Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record Read Job Description for a complete list of job requirements and experience required
