Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Senior Director, the ELD Specialist provides ELD instructional support for K-12 teachers, including but not limited to lesson development, demonstration lessons, and coaching. The ELD Specialist will utilize research-based learning strategies to work with teachers and students. The goal of ELD specialist is to enhance classroom teacher knowledge with linguistically responsive teaching methods that will help their students reach English language proficiency.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A. Possession of California clear multiple or single subject teaching credential B. Masters Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning or enrolled in a master's program preferred C.Three or more years of successful credentialed teaching experience E. CLAD required G. BCLAD certification preferable H. Spanish language proficiency preferred
