Job requirements: Either experience teaching CORE or History to middle or high school students or a single subject credential in History. Description of Job: Teacher will work on a block schedule. Teacher will creatively instruct students on grade level content in History. 6th grade focuses on ancient history (prehistoric through rise and fall of Rome). 7th grade focuses on world history (rise and fall of Rome through scientific revolution/age of enlightenment). 2023-24 School year runs from August 24th- May 31st We are looking for creative, energetic teachers who love working with middle schoolers. With our small class sizes (~15 students per class) and block scheduling, you will have the opportunity to cover materials in depth, connect with your students, incorporate games and activities and provide additional support to those who need it. Our objective is to make learning fun in a supportive, nurturing environment! The students at NLA (Noble Learning Academy) are enthusiastic, respectful, funny, hard-working and a blast to teach. If this atmosphere and philosophy speak to you, come join our team! Salary: Is adjustable based on the number of classes taught. $15,000 class taught. Instruction time per class per week is 3 hours.
