Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist is part of a multi-disciplinary team who assess students with physical, mental, developmental and/or emotional disabilities to determine current levels of motor development and/or cognitive functioning; develop recommendations and a plan that addresses the identified needs; identify and address families' concerns regarding students' development; and assist other staff in implementing activities and/or techniques that address the identified student needs. Candidates must be able to travel to District school sites.
Requirements / Qualifications
Candidates must fully complete an application for employment and attach the following to their application: --Valid Occupational Therapist Certification issued by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or American Occupational Therapy Certification Board (AOTCB). --Valid California Occupational Therapist license. May consider license from another state if candidate is able to obtain California license within 60 days of employment.

Employment with San Dieguito Union High School District is contingent upon successful completion of post-offer background check, fingerprinting, physical exam including tuberculosis, drug and alcohol screening, and an Oath of Allegiance.
