Granada Hills Charter, the largest charter school in the nation, is an independent public school in the San Fernando Valley. A fiscally independent conversion charter school that opened in 2003, Granada Hills Charter has a current student enrollment of approximately 4,750 in its high school program and 1,300 students enrolled in its TK-8 program that opened in 2019. The combined annual wait list for the TK-8 and high school programs is nearly 4,000. The School’s student population is one of the most diverse, with more than 40 languages other than English spoken at home and over 60 nationalities represented. Job Summary

The Assistant Administrative Director of the TK-8 Program works with the Administrative Director of the TK-8 to serve and support the TK-8 program. The Assistant Administrative Director supports the Administrative Director in areas of staff performance, the operation of the school campus and related facilities; and establishing and maintaining a positive school climate for the learning, behavior, safety, health and welfare of students and personnel.

Requirements / Qualifications

Master's Degree in educational leadership, public administration or related field California Administrative Services Credential (GHC will consider candidates currently enrolled in an administrative services credential program or who have passed at least one subtest of the California Preliminary Administrative Credential Examination) Teaching Credential

Position covered by STRS Retirement System and includes employer paid medical, dental and vision benefits for employee and eligible dependents. All employees must submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to their start date, absent a legally recognized reasonable accommodation. Should any COVID-19 vaccine require more than one (1) dose for complete inoculation, employees must receive all required doses. No applicant or employee will be allowed to enter any GHC facility until they have received all required doses, and present written proof of vaccination in this regard.
