Requirements / Qualifications

EdJoin Application, Cover Letter, Resume, and Letters of Reference Provides technical assistance in an intermediate or equivalent scope attendance office and prepares information for complex attendance reports in accordance with the California Education Code. Trains and provides work direction to others to assure District and State mandated guidelines are met. Requires strong record keeping, office organization and clerical skills. Must have good computer skills including word processing and data entry. Requires a thorough knowledge of the technical aspects of running an attendance office. Understanding of basic accounting procedures is necessary. Incumbent must have a thorough understanding of applicable District policies and procedures and State Education Codes. Requires above average communication skills sufficient to interact in both formal and informal settings. Requires supervisory and staff management skills. High School diploma or equivalent required. Additional clerical or business training preferred. Minimum of two years of increasingly responsible clerical or record keeping experience with one year in a school office is strongly preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish desired. *Clerical/Administrative Support Level I Test must be completed/passed prior to employment. *Testing Information: Location: Adult Education – 575 Hays Street, Woodland, CA 95695, Room F4. Dates/Times: Tuesday – at 9 a.m., Thursday at 5 p.m. Call 530-662-0798 to schedule testing appointment.

The District will contribute towards health benefits on a prorated basis (based on employee's work year and hours assigned). The benefit package includes options for medical, dental and vision. Medical plan options include Kaiser, Western Health Advantage and Sutter Health Plus. $9,360 per year for Employee-only medical benefit selection. $11,400 per year for Employee+1 or Family medical benefit selection.
