Job Summary
The Educational Specialist works under the immediate supervision and direction of the Site Principal with direction from the Director of Special Education. The teacher will plan, implement, and evaluate the instructional activities for individual students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicant must have an Education Specialist credential. Incomplete applications may not be given equal consideration. A complete application will include all the following: • Cover Letter • Resume • Copies of three current letters of professional recommendation. (One must be from a supervisor.) • A complete set of college transcripts, including undergrad and graduate work. (unofficial copies are acceptable) • Copies of all credentials listed in the application. (unofficial copies are acceptable) • English Learner Authorization / CLAD • TB screen, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice, and CPR certification-or ability to get certified, required prior to commencement of employment.
