Job Summary
Under the direction of the District Superintendent, the Principal serves as the educational leader and chief executive of the school site. The Principal is accountable for direction of the instructional program, management of staff and pupil personnel services, operation of the school, and school-community relations.
Requirements / Qualifications
All of the following credentials are required for this position: 1.Possession of valid California teaching credential. 2.Five (5) years of successful teaching experience. 3.Possession of California administrative credential. 4.Certified as evaluator of certificated employees 4.Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members in matters of discipline; scheduling and placement of students. 5.Ability to assess students for appropriate placement. 6.Ability to monitor effectively all student activities, sports, student council, dances, and other related activities.
