The Encinitas Union School District, a K-6 district, is seeking 2.5 Site Bilingual Community Liaison staff to support our elementary school sites. Under the direction of assigned administrators, these individuals will serve as a liaison between parents, students, teachers, support staff and the community; assist with educational programs, services, and students academic needs and well-being; plan, organize, and coordinate events and activities in support of the district's educational programs; familiar with school, district, county programs and community-based services; provides translations, and perform clerical duties. The Encinitas Union School District (EUSD) is located in North San Diego County along the coast where Engaging Students in Purpose, Passion, Power, and Play is our mission. It serves nine Kindergarten through sixth grade schools. EUSD has 19% of students receiving free or reduced lunch, 15% of students receive Special Education services, and 9.4% of students are Emerging Bilinguals/English Learners. Four district pillars are supported in all nine schools: Academic Excellence, 21st Century Learning, Health and Wellness and Environmental
Stewardship. These priorities, as well as the focus areas of Equity, MTSS/Instructional Supports, and Wellbeing, are reflected in the school sites and their individual brands, as well as the Local Control and Accountability Plan.
NOTE: This posting will be closed based on applicant pool/district needs.
Applicants who pass the paper screening will be invited to take the district administered test, performance task and panel interview at a time to be determined.
There are 3 positions total - 2 full time positions; 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm and 1 part time position; 20 hours per week

Salary placement dependent upon experience
Successful candidates will be required to pass fingerprint background check, physical and drug screen and provide negative Tuberculin Skin Test result prior to working in Encinitas Union School District. Fingerprinting and TB test at applicant's expense. Physical/drug screen paid by EUSD.
