Requirements: The manager models cultural humility and competency and ensures that Hamlin’s CREED, Community Statement, and Philanthropy Mission Statement are broadly owned and truly lived within the Hamlin parent community. The manager is a trusted colleague, hardworking team player, and thoughtful partner for the EDIA, PA President, and DCWB Reports to: Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Primary Responsibilities: The manager works in close partnership with 3 key leaders– Parents Association President, the EDIA, and the Director of Community Well-Being (DCWB) to build a vibrant, inclusive, and connected parent community at Hamlin. The manager is a warm and joyful presence in the school who inspires generosity (time, talent, and treasure) and a sense of belonging through meaningful philanthropy and purposeful parent engagement. Under the supervision of the EDIA, the manager oversees the parent Annual Fund, partners with the Parents Association to host parent engagement opportunities, and partners with the DCWB to provide opportunities for parent education. The manager works diligently to cultivate a sense of belonging in the parent community through philanthropy and active volunteering; fosters strong and authentic parent-to-parent and parent-to-school relationships; develops the skill and will of parents and community members to take on leadership roles within their grade levels and/or in the wider school community; and supports the DCWB in organizing parent education opportunities.
