Hemet Unified School District is one of the largest geographic areas of any district in California. Job Summary
DEFINITION: The Coordinator of Instructional Support assists the Director, site principals, specialists, and teachers in developing and sustaining an effective instructional coaching program, offering high quality professional development, and supporting new teachers. The Coordinator of Instructional support collaborates closely with the District and site principals in communicating and supporting the vision of Hemet Unified School District, maintaining the focus on high student achievement for all students, creating a collaborative, results-oriented professional learning community, analyzing and responding to data, supporting sites in their growth, and evaluating and responding to the effectiveness of interventions and instructional practices. In addition, the Coordinator of Instructional Support assists with District-wide professional development for all employees.
Requirements / Qualifications
CREDENTIAL: Must possess a California Teaching Credential. Must possess a California Administrative Credential. EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Site or District related Administrative Experience is preferred • A demonstrated record of effectively leading other adults in creating change • Experience as a teacher leader, instructional coach or site leader • LETRS Program Mastery is preferred
