Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Services, the Coordinator of Environmental Literacy leads the district's efforts in implementing environmental literacy education and the LBUSD Sustainability Plan in collaboration with the Director of Facilities and Sustainability. This position is a 211 work year and 8 hours per day.
Requirements / Qualifications
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following: A minimum of five years teaching in the content area and level posted (elementary, middle, high) Valid California Teaching Credential (multiple subject or single subject in science preferred) Experience in a leadership role working with peers at the school site Master’s Degree is preferred The following materials are required for a successful application. Credential: Valid California Teaching Credential (multiple subject or single subject in science preferred) *Letter of Introduction/Cover Letter *Resume *Transcripts with Bachelor's degree, Master's (if applicable), and professional program(s)
