BASIC FUNCTION: This is an open and promotional recruitment to establish an eligibility list to fill vacant positions for the 2023 - 2024 school year. Under the direction of an assigned administrator, lead and participate in food service operations and activities at an assigned school site including the preparation, serving, distribution and selling of food items to meet student and staff needs; oversee related inventory, cashiering and sanitation functions; train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned personnel. The Nutrition Services Lead-I leads and participates in food service operations and activities at an assigned elementary school or academy site. Incumbents are responsible for providing work direction to a small crew.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and two years increasingly responsible experience in quantity food preparation including work with inventory and cashiering functions. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid Food Service Manager Training Certificate.
