Job Summary
Under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor, serves as district receptionist and liaison between the District Office and the general public, staff, and external agencies. Performs a variety of general and specialized clerical and technical duties in support of district-wide operations and activities including but not limited to enrollment, maintaining office security and monitoring visitors.
Requirements / Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent AND three years of progressive clerical or administrative support experience, preferably in an educational environment. OR An associate degree with coursework in business administration, communications, behavioral science, or a related field AND two year of progressive clerical or administrative support experience, preferably in an educational environment. OR A bachelor’s degree with course work in business administration, communications, a behavioral science, or a related field AND one year of progressive clerical or administrative support experience or higher, preferably in an educational environment.

PURPOSE
To establish a list of eligible candidates that will be used to fill a current vacancy as well as future needs for the duration of the list, up to one year. The current vacancy is a 12 month, full-time (8 hours/day, 8:00-4:30 pm) position located at the District Office in Simi Valley.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Completed applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on July 2, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
TESTING PROCESS:
A) Multiple Choice Test= 40% weighting on final score
Tentatively scheduled for the week of July 7, 2025
B) Structured Interview= 60% weighting on final score
Tentatively scheduled: As early as July 14, 2025
