Cafeteria Assistant: Assists in food service activities including dining hall maintenance and other related work as required; cleans cafeteria equipment; maintains clean service and storage areas; loads and operates dishwasher; washes and folds dishtowels; cleans dining room tables, and chairs after each meal; sweeps and mops floors; empties dining room trash containers; cleans and fills napkin, silverware, and condiment holders; lifts and carries food cartons, milk bags, garbage bags, and serving containers; may assist cook in preparing and serving food portions. Maintenance Custodian Sly Park: Performs custodial and general maintenance services by keeping assigned areas clean, orderly, safe, and secure. Cook: Assists with preparing, cooking, and serving meals in large quantities to students, clients, and staff in a cafeteria setting.

We are accepting applications for substitute positions based at the Sly Park Conservation and Environmental Education Center in Pollock Pines, CA. Sly Park is a residential environmental education school in the El Dorado National Forest, approximately 50 miles east of Sacramento. There will be a written exam for all positions. You may apply for more than one of the substitute positions. Candidates selected for these positions will be fingerprinted and asked to take a TB test.
In compliance with the current California Department of Public Health Order, proof of vaccination or weekly COVID-19 testing is a requirement of employment at Sacramento County Office of Education.
