Credential Requirements: -Moderate/Severe Disabilities Education Specialist Instruction Credential -Certificate Copy CBEST, CSET. -English Learner Authorization CLAD (EL authorization) -Intern eligible encouraged to apply Required Qualifications: -Knowledge of teaching methods and instructional strategies appropriate to a variety of disabilities participate in the review and revision of IEPs, maintain student and program records as required by District, SELPA, State and Fed -Monitor and assess student progress on a regular basis per IEPS -Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, students, parents and community, coordinate Special Education services with general education -Arrange and conduct parent conferences -Participate in continuous evaluation and upgrading of the school’s Special Education program -Supports students in social skills development -Continues planned professional self-improvement -Works in conjunction with other support staff
