Visions In Education is seeking a Vice Principal to support our Independent Study (9-12) academy. The Vice Principal will be responsible for discipline, attendance, and instruction; will assist the Principal with administrative duties involving student conduct, curriculum development, and be responsible for positive and effective relationships among staff, students, and parents; will be responsible for ensuring high quality instruction, student success and preparing students to function effectively in the marketplace; and will supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel. Candidates with extensive experience working with technology, digital curriculum, and virtual tools is desired. In addition, familiarity with independent study, charter schools, community college resources, Career & Technical Education, equity-focused school leadership, and non-site based instructional models is preferred. This position will be supporting the Academy Principal, teachers, counselors, and students in the San Joaquin, Sacramento County, and neighboring communities.
