Job Summary

The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher for the Head Start Program in Baldwin Park. The ECE Teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate educational program for preschool-age children. The position adheres to regulations, policies, procedures and practices associated with District, State and Federal Early Childhood Education programs.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: -BA Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field -6 semester units of Early Childhood Education in Administration and Adult Supervision -Child Development Teacher Permit or higher -Current CPR and First Aid certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association or EMS Certified) -Completion of Health and Safety course (must be completed prior to employment) -Valid California Driver's license and current car insurance PREFERENCE: -Bilingual/bi literate (Spanish) -Early Childhood Education experience
