Good Shepherd Catholic School – is seeking a 2nd Grade Teacher for the 2023-2024 School Year.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic individual with experience in diverse classrooms.  Candidates will work cooperatively with other teaching staff and be dedicated to the vocation of teaching.  This position requires strong organizational and class management skills.  The successful candidate must demonstrate an understanding of 2nd grade curriculum, technology tools, and how to integrate them into the classroom. The candidate must also believe in and support Good Shepherd’s focus on Faith, Academics, and Service.

• Demonstrates strength and comfort in working in a of faith-based school

• Develops differentiation within subjects

• Creates effective assessments including formative and summative that supports the curriculum


• Develops strong and consistent classroom management protocols that supports a safe and nurturing environment
