Under the general supervision of the Superintendent, plans and administers an elementary school with general education and special education students.
Requirements / Qualifications
• An appropriate California Administrative Credential or its equivalent.
A completed application and personal letter prepared by the candidate expressing his/her reason for applying. A valid administrative credential & three current letters of recommendation.

The Claremont Unified School District is located in Southern California approximately 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The community is known for the Claremont Colleges and has a strong working relationship with these institutions.
Currently, the District has over 7,000 students in its K-12 program and runs an extensive Adult School program. There are seven unique elementary schools, all have been designated by the State of California as Distinguished Schools, a school for the orthopedically handicapped, an intermediate school, a comprehensive high school, and a continuation school.
