Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Chief Operations Officer, the Facilities Manager ensures all custodial and facilities activities are maintained in a clean and orderly condition. Work collaboratively with the Chief Operations Officer in regard to facilities, projects, and operations of the school site. Essential Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Chief Operations Officer on vendor contracts, requirements and scope of duties for facility related items and events - Oversee facility event coordination and facility use requests - Manage and oversee outside use of facilities including but not limited to the verification of proof of insurance and billing of services - Support the school in regard to Crisis and Disaster Preparedness in alignment with the School Safety Plan - Management of staff including Custodial and Night Patrol - Management of the Food Services Program and Staff - Determine proper key distribution to staff for school buildings - Collaborate with Chief Operations Officer and other administrators in regard to facility Policies & Procedures - Manage and oversee landscaping for all school buildings - Ensure Pest Control/Hazardous Waste, Recycle Program & Compost Processes are followed - School vehicles maintenance - Monitor and maintain equipment as it relates to facilities - Perform other related duties as assigned SKILLS: - Communicate effectively with all stakeholders - Successful Knowledge and skill level with various software programs - Excellent written/verbal communication skills - Basic mathematical skills - Continue to learn and grow within the Operation and Facilities field - Display strong organizational skills - Sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above
