We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursing and Allied Health Program Director located at our campus in Menifee, CA. This is a full-time, tenure-track non-teaching faculty position which requires 1372 service hours (equates to 196 service days) per academic year. Under the direction of the Associate Dean, of Nursing and Allied Health, the Nursing and Allied Health Program Director will serve as the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program Director and support the coordination of Allied Health Programs. The Nursing and Allied Health Program Director will work closely with the nursing and allied health program directors/coordinators, faculty, and staff. The Nursing and Allied Health Program Director, will exercise independent decision-making within the scope of responsibilities and is expected to participate in college governance through Academic Senate appointments to standing councils, committees, and/or a variety of task forces.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1. A Master's in nursing (attach transcripts); OR 2. A Bachelor's in nursing AND A Master's in health education or health science (attach transcripts); OR 3. The equivalent; OR 4. The minimum qualification as set by the Board of Registered Nursing, whichever is higher; AND 5. One (1) year experience as an administrator with validated performance of administrative responsibilities; AND 6. Two (2) years’ experience teaching as an Instructor approved by the BRN in pre or post-licensure registered nursing program; an academic year is defined as two (2) semesters or three (3) quarters; AND 7. Full-time teaching experience preferred in pre or post-licensure registered nursing program such as associate, baccalaureate, master’s, or doctoral degree nursing program; AND 8. One (1) year continuous, full-time or its equivalent experience providing direct patient care as a registered nurse; or equivalent experience and/or education as determined by the board; AND 9. Possession of a current California Registered Nursing License (attach license); AND 10. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students ***Before scanning attachments, remove/redact sensitive, confidential information such as date of birth, social security number, and photograph*** DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1. Two (2) years of professional teaching experience in nursing or healthcare discipline at an accredited college or university 2. Four (4) years of continuous, professional experience in direct patient care practice as a staff registered nurse 3. Evidence of a strong commitment to remain current in Nursing and the instruction of Nursing
