Job Summary

Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of duties in support of students within the transition program including but not limited to supporting literacy for life skills, Community Based Instruction activities and employment placement, vocational development and provides job coaching and training; fosters collaborative working relationships with community-based organizations, potential employers, local and state agencies, and the public; and performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

Below are the required qualifications for this position: - Equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by a minimum of two years of college level coursework, 48 semester units minimum. - Three (3) years of work experience involving frequent public contact, work experience including work with vocational, employment, or similar programs and services preferred. - Clear California Drivers license and record to transport students in the school vehicle to and from school and community based activities.
