The successful Human Resources Manager upholds high expectations for all staff at Alpha and is committed to supporting all employees. You are especially team-oriented and are able to communicate and influence effectively across a diverse set of teachers, leaders, and stakeholders. As the HR Manager, you are responsible for running efficient HR operations for Alpha and supporting its employees. From day-to-day people operations administration to various projects that ensure we are continuously improving our employee experience, you will be the point person in many areas that support Alpha’s teams. The successful Human Resources Manager exhibits a strong commitment to your professional development (as well as the development of your HR team) by staying up-to-date with the most recent changes in Federal and California legislation and human resources trends. Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree 3+ years in the HR field working in a senior generalist and/or manager capacity Knowledge of and experience with HR Information Systems (i.e. Zenefits), payroll platforms, and benefits systems Experience supporting a suite of benefits and perks (health, FSA, retirement, etc.) Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Google applications (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), Microsoft Excel and Word SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
