The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a highly qualified ECE (Early Childhood Education) Teacher for the Early Head Start Program in the Tri-Cities Area (various locations in the Los Angeles area). Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Education Program, the ECE teacher provides supervision and instruction of infants, toddlers, and their caregivers within the Early Head Start Program, and assists in other program activities as assigned.

The Baldwin Park Unified School District is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education Teacher for the Baldwin Park Early Head Start Program. The teacher will provide weekly home base teaching for families with infants and toddlers ages zero to three years. As well as creating and maintaining learning environments that nurture, respect, and support the growth and development of infants, toddlers, and their families. 

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher, in Early Childhood Education or related field, which must include six (6) semester units of Early Childhood Administration and two (2) semester units of Adult Supervision. • Site Supervisor or higher • Must have a minimum of (3) semester units of infant toddler development (must complete (6) units within one year from date of hire • Must possess a valid California Driver’s license and carry current car insurance. • Must possess current CPR and First Aid cards and verification of completion for the Health and Safety course prior to employment. • Must submit verification of a current physical exam to Human Resources prior to employment. • May require Bilingual/Bi-literate skills for certain programs.
