Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3) to five (5) years of journey-level experience in the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration field. Valid California driver’s license Valid Refrigerant Recovery Certification Pass the District Exam.

If you have taken the exam for HVAC Technician II with a passing score of 70% within the last two years, Human Resources will verify your testing score and you will not need to take the District exam for this position. (Testing scores are good for two years from the original testing date.)
